To stalk the birds stalking their prey.

The day comes to an end at the Montezuma Nature Preserve. It is quiet, the water still, the sun sits low in the sky. A perfect end to the day. The birds, all but a remaining few have settled in for the evening.

      They do. Wading birds move slowly and with intent. They look like they are doing nothing, but their hunting style has them going in for a fish at lighting speed. I miss even the big herons catching a fish often.
